From the simple tools and farm implements to today's modern agricultural techniques, the agricultural industry has continued to provide food for sustenance of life and nourishment for the world's billions. But sometimes that is under threat because of environment degradations that include water pollution, mismanagement of water resources and soil erosion to name a few.



Farmers are often ill advised on proper farming techniques that their practices are quite harmful such as engaging in "slash-and-burn" techniques. This wrong-headed approaches include even sea farming where fishermen use dynamite to catch fish but destroy the corals that support fish populations.
