The Evolving Society

Society played a big role in the development of human civilization. When societies formed in early history, man no longer had to fend for himself alone and so was able to concentrate on things other than mere survival in a harsh environment. Different times had different societies because people and societies change over time.



Because of the formation of societies, it was no longer necessary to concentrate on food gathering alone but that allowed man to explore his other interests such as writing, the arts, music and science. Of all earthly species, Man is the one specie that transformed his environment. In a sense, Man did not evolve unlike the other animals who have to adapt to their surroundings. Man relied on his intellect alone.
